Ading’s Kitchen, originally known as Ading’s Gourmet Tuyo, was founded in 2014 by April Lacson - Justiniani, an internationally trained chef and innovative restaurateur in Negros Occidental. Before her brand, she would prepare and bring her lola's tuyo and aligue during outings and gatherings. Friends and family who would get a taste of these dishes encouraged her to share it to the public — and with a little push, she eventually started out with a home-based business. The new establishment showcases a variety of products that originated from heirloom recipes by four generations of Gonzagas and Lacsons, one of the most influential families of the province. The kitchen focuses on bringing gourmet goods that are infused with carefully curated and locally sourced ingredients while preserving the taste of Negrense heritage. Following an FDA approved production area, Ading’s Kitchen takes pride in maintaining artisanal food production system to create locally made products that are true to their roots and worthy of your pantry space. April’s insatiable drive for continuous learning by immersing herself in various research and enhancement trainings here and abroad and also by exploring innovative techniques have deemed valuable in giving her wide clientele base the best food experience. On a side note, the homey Ading brand was inspired from April’s daughter, Adi, adding “ng” to her name from her Grandmother’s nicknames Lobing and Eding. The “ng” produces the very endearing sound Negrenses are so well known for.
