BABYLAN'S COCOCRAFT
Babylan's Cococraft was established in October 12, 1987 when Rolando and his wife, decided to venture into handicrafts business. Rolando, an architecture graduate and who have learned the craft from his previous employer, started to design products made of raw materials like coconut, pandan leaves and capiz shells. The company though was more known for its coconut products. He recruited people from the squatter’s area and has patiently tried to train as many of them in the craftwork. From 3 laborers, they now employ 10 permanently and subcontract to 30. On the following year, the company joined the Association of Negros Producers when the ANP just started.
